In the position of Livestock Graduate you will be exposed to
areas of the business such as:
• Procure livestock to meet JBS brand specifications.
• Assess the quality, condition, and suitability of livestock for purchase based on age, weight, condition, breed and characteristics.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, seasonal influences, and market conditions.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, agents, and other stakeholders in the livestock industry.
• Coordinate the movement and transport of livestock.
• Data capture and reporting.
• Implement strategies relating to challenges around livestock procurement and supply.
• Planning and programming for beef processing operations
What we’re looking for in our applicants:
• Experience in livestock or agribusiness is beneficial but not essential.
• Completed Year 12.
• Must hold current drivers license.
• Self motivated and ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills Microsoft outlook, word excel.
• Proven ability to take ownership and show initiative.
