As Australia’s largest lot feeder, with 6 feedlots spanning the east coast of the country, joining JBS Australia in the position of Feedlot Graduate presents an opportunity for growth and development.

About the Program

In the position of Feedlot Graduate you will be exposed to
areas of the business such as:

  • Rotate through key operational areas of the feedlot business
    and gain in depth knowledge of how feedlot operations and
    performance translate into carcase meat quality and meeting
    brand specifications.
  • Exposure to other key areas of the JBS supply chain from beef
    processing to business services opportunity to shift into
    other areas.
  • Mentor supported professional development to set you up for
    career success: technical skills + soft skills + project
    management + industry networking.

About You

What we’re looking for in our applicants:

  • Graduate or in the final year of an undergraduate degree in
    animal science, agribusiness, or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and filter and organise
    information on a range of unfamiliar topics.
  • Self motivated and demonstrated ability to learn and adapt
    quickly across complex environments
  • Proven ability to take ownership and show initiative.
  • High level of computer literacy/capability especially MS Office.
  • Must hold a current open Australian driver’s license.
  • Must be prepared to re locate.
